Lakehead Tower Erectors Ltd. is a family operated company that has been in the tower business for over 40 years! We are familiar with all aspects of tower construction, including foundations, foundation repairs, antenna and transmission line installations (microwave, cellular, FM and TV), Shelter placements, tower supply and installation, tower re-inforcing, strobe lighting, troubleshooting and repairs, anchor repairs, roof-top installations as well as on-going maintenance repairs and tower relamps.

We have sub-contracted to WesTower Communications, Highlight Construction Ltd., Advanced Tower Ltd., Max Tower, W. Renz Communications and Prestige Telecom Inc., all companies in Canada. To name a few corporations/companies, we have done installations for MTS Allstream Inc (BELL MTS), Rogers Communications, CTV, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Manitoba Hydro, Nav Canada (Artic work) Thunder Bay Telephones, Bell Canada, Bell Media, Kenora and Dryden Telephones.

We have worked on most of the Broadcast towers in Manitoba with heights of 1000 ft. plus. This includes strobe work, re-inforcing, anchor repairs, large FM and TV antenna Installations along with transmission line installation and regular maintenance.

All of our riggers go through extensive safety training in Fall Protection, First Aid, CPR and heavy equipment operation. Lakehead Tower is a small independent company which employs competent people and by remaining small, our quality and competitiveness is consistent.
